BLU columnar technology and Hybrid Transaction processing (HTAP) directions

Db2 is well known as a high-performance, simple to use, enterprise-class database system, running transactional/operational/warehouse workloads.  Db2 is also well-suited for the modern application developer and has the features and capabilities that will make their jobs easier. For instance, Db2 is able to store both relational and non-relational data (e.g. JSON and XML) in a single data store and have access via RESTful APIs. We'll cover and discuss modern application development with JSON and RESTful apis, continuous availability and scalability with pureScale and warehouse acceleration with Db2 columnar (BLU) capabilities.
