DB2 10 Performance Experiences Part 2: Application enablement

During this session we will concentrate on the DB2 10 changes that help applications to perform better, faster and in a more efficient way.
Bi temporal support, hash, index include columns, inline LOBs and many SQL improvements have the potential to accelerate our current and future applications. We will discuss and explore the most important of them.
We will also talk about the DB2 10 CPU reduction potential and the DB2 10 performance expectations.
This presentation recollects the experiences of co-authoring the redbook “DB2 10 Performance Topics” and the observations of users of DB2 10 for z/OS.
