With the comprehensive features for temporal data management in DB2, database administrators and application developers face numerous choices in database and application design. They also encounter new situations for the maintenance of database objects and historic data. 

This session describes best practices for designing temporal databases, managing temporal database objects, and developing temporal applications. The guidelines also cover topics such as temporal data modeling, schema design, temporal performance, and tips for coding efficient temporal queries and temporal updates.



SQL Adria is the independent, non-profit organization that gathers relational database users for Croatia and Slovenia. It was founded 1994. and in the same year it has become the regional user group.
