Bio

Enzo Cialini is a Senior Technical Staff Member and Master Inventor in the Worldwide Technical Sales Organization and formerly the Chief Quality Assurance Architect in the IBM Toronto Db2 Development Team. He's assisted clients with solution architectures, is a published book author and has written various papers on Db2. Enzo has over 25 years experience in database technology from software development, testing, support, competitive analysis and production deployments.

For instance, Db2 is able to store both relational and non-relational data (e.g. JSON and XML) in a single data store and have access via RESTful APIs. We'll cover and discuss modern application development with JSON and RESTful apis, continuous availability and scalability with pureScale and warehouse acceleration with Db2 columnar (BLU) capabilities.
